- I received Early Career Award from Japanese Society for Mathematical Biology.
- We submitted a new manuscript. We combined experimental evolution with a mathematical model to investigate how the amplitude of short-term environmental fluctuations affects evolutionary rescue.
- I presented the above result at the Annual Meeting of Society for Evolutionary Studies, Japan.

New publications
Two papers have been published this year!
- Food web complexity modulates environmental impacts on food chain length (Shibasaki & Terui 2024, Oikos)
- Biological distributions of trickster animals (Shibasaki, Nakadai, & Nakawake, 2024, Roy. Soc. Open. Sci.)
Back to Japan
I’m back to Japan! I work on eco-evolutionary feedback via experiments and theory at Dr. Masato Yamamichi group, National Institute of Genetics.
